Nicholas Stohrer? Yes you probably do, reader Penelope. He was the pastry chef to Marie Leszczynski, wife of King Louis the XV of France and daughter of (once) King Stanislas Leszczynski of Poland, supposed inventor of the baba au rhum. Good memory!
