Where’s the fun?

LOVE your gingerbread house …. are you not going to DECORATE it?!?!? I feel like we’ve waited so long and now all of a sudden, it’s buche de noel time! No Mini-wheats thatched roof? No candy cane eaves-troughs? No Jr. Mint patio? What’s up with that?

Great point, Sarah. In fact the reason that I haven’t yet posted a picture of the decorated gingerbread house is because little Jo and Joan Pastry have been slacking — they haven’t finished it yet. Their grandparents will be in this weekend, however, so I’ll bet at some point they’ll get down to work on it. I can say that so far they’ve made some very, er…interesting design choices. Antoni Gaudí would be proud!
