Steve Jobs is Coming for Your Dinner

The good folks at Apple are at it again with a new proprietary ordering process through which you’ll be able to select, order and pay for food at any quick-service restaurant via your wireless device (iPhone), then (ideally) pick it up at a special drive-through window when you arrive. It reminds me of a newspaper article I read when I was a kid, in which the columnist predicted that one day fast food would get so fast it would simply be fired from guns at moving cars so drivers wouldn’t even have to slow down. It appears that this innovation has brought that brave new world one step closer.
