For the Week of June 18, 2007

While we’re on the subject of things Marco Polo didn’t bring back from China, what about ice cream? And anyway, the wife is anxious to break in the new ice cream maker I gave her for Christmas. What with a new baby and a new house, she hasn’t even read the owner’s manual yet. But the temperature is going to top 95 degrees today, so I think it’s high time. There are a few different recipes she’s interested in trying, among them are:

Mango Sorbet
Chocolate Gelato
Caramel Ice Cream

That oughtta cool us off.
