All this talk of leavening and early American quickbreads put me in the mood for some good ol’ Southern
Some of you may also have noticed that I didn’t talk much about cookies last week. The explanation of course is that I didn’t make them. So let’s try that again, shall we?
And for those of you who are further noticing that Joe “Pastry” isn’t in fact making pastry this week (for two weeks in a row now), well, sue me. If I can’t indulge my own pet interests then what the heck is this whole blogging thing for?
